As some of you know, we have a Bible study that meets every Thursday morning. When the weather's nice, it's outside in the neighborhood. It's one of our favorite times of the week, and it's often a time when people who aren't homeless also join us from other parts of Dallas.
For about a year now, Pastor Jonathan Grace has led our ever-in-flux group in reading through the book of John. Last week, we made it all the way to John 13!!!
In chapter 13, John recounts when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. Well, we got inspired ... by none other than St. Francis of Assisi (oh yes, and by Jesus). St. Francis of Assisi brought Scripture to life so many centuries ago by acting out different Bible stories.
Next Thursday, March 19, we'll meet on the streets at 9:00 a.m. to wash feet. If any of you are feeling like you might just want to come, send us an email info@thehumanimpact.org and we'll get you all of the information you'll need to meet us!

Jesus: "If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you."
~ John 13:14-15
