Our 3rd Annual Valentine's Brunch took place on Saturday, February 10th. Close to 50 friends gathered to share a meal, conversation, and love.
Madison Schneider, a former intern with The Human Impact, captured the essence of the morning so beautifully when she wrote, "There is something special about bringing together so many people from so many different parts of Dallas and to just hang out. It's such a warm, loving community. No one cares who you are, how much money you have, what you do for a living, where you sleep at night. None of us have any of that in common. And yet we can just sit around sipping coffee... like seriously?! When does that ever happen. It's so, so cool. It's just proof that love knows no boundaries."
A very special thanks to the following people who helped make this brunch so wonderful.
Jacky and Pincoffs for opening their home and hosting us all. It was the perfect space.
Whole Foods Market for sponsoring all of the delicious food, from the coffee and the quiches to the fruit and the sweets.
Whitney Landers for the thoughtful decorations, making the brunch feel warm and lovely.
Our wonderful volunteers who gave rides to our homeless and formerly homeless friends: Brittany & Nick Dean, Gayle Schneider-Elms, Mike Parker, Rachel and Nathan Nash, Melissa Nunley, Megan Carpenter, and Austin Jordan.
