Even amidst dying grass and cracked ground, bright life grows in South Dallas.
On Wednesday, November 5, we start Street Art!
Dallas-based artist and art therapist Rachel Nash will be leading Street Art. Rachel is an incredibly gifted artist herself who also displays the work of other artists on her online gallery, "Rachel Nash Gallery."

What is Street Art?
No, this isn't some rendition of Exit Through the Gift Shop. We're leaving the graffiti and obscure pop culture references to Banksy. Street Art, the South Dallas way, is simply an opportunity to express ourselves through various artistic mediums each week. We will be on the street, making art, with the homeless and non-homeless, alike.
Who is invited?
Anyone, literally anyone. You can be homeless or have a home. You can be young or old; you can be fun or boring. Most importantly, you can be terrible. (At art, of course!) If you want spend a little time being creative, come!
Location
An abandoned lot on the corner of Dawson St. and Jeffries St. The address you can use to locate it is 2851 Dawson St., Dallas, TX 75206.

1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Dates
This will be a six-week art class, with a break Thanksgiving week.
